Long Island Accident and Injury Attorney Jeena R. Belil

Ms. Belil's areas of practice include Plaintiff's Personal Injury, No Fault and Uninsured Motorist Law, subrogation, medical and auto insurance coverage disputes. In addition, she handles matters for small businesses including employment contracts, separation agreements and commercial leases.

She is admitted to the New York State Bar. She received a B.A. degree from Rowan University and J.D. degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Ms. Belil is formerly associated with AutoOne Insurance, as Managing Counsel, and Travelers Insurance, as First Party New York Regional Coordinator. In those positions, Ms. Belil was responsible for the management and organization of the No Fault case handling structure that serves as the template for the defense of first party claims. In addition, Ms. Belil has been instrumental in the management and preparation of many cases that have established the benchmark for defending arbitrations and suits and investigating and prosecuting No-Fault fraud.

Ms. Belil has presented seminars and round table conferences on diverse topics such as First Party Examinations Under Oath, Using Evidence at Uninsured Motorist Framed Issue Hearings and Arbitration, and Insurance Fraud. Ms. Belil has also represented the interests of Plaintiff clients in Personal Injury litigation from inception through trial.

Jean (Chen) Tien - Of Counsel

Ms. Tien graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University, where she was President of the Moot Court Honor Society.  Ms. Tien is a member of the New York State bar.  Before starting her own practice, Ms. Tien was with Goldman Sachs where she provided compliance counsel.  Ms. Tien has also served as a judicial clerk to the late Honorable Conrad B. Duberstein, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. 
 
 
Ms. Tien is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association.  She is also an active volunteer in many pro-bono organizations and has served on the board of nonprofit organizations.  Ms. Tien is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
