News Just Out for Long Island Car Accident Victims: IRS Announces New Medical Mileage Rates for 2010
The IRS has announced new standard mileage reimbursement rates for 2010. Most important to victims of New York Car accidents is that Medical mileage will change to 16.5 cents per mile starting January 1.
Your No Fault Carrier should know to adjust these rates at the beginning of 2010, however, I have made it even easier. All you have to do is continue to document your mileage utilizing our handy form which calculates each mileage payment for you and submit to your carrier within thirty days. If you are a client of the law firm, you simply submit your form to me, and I take care of getting it to the No Fault carrier for you.
You can read the full IRS press release for further information and other changes to standard business mileage rates.
